WOW!!!! Where do I begin?  Several of you attended our annual meeting for the very first time.  Since 1888, WMU has had a singular focus…Missions.  Missionaries, missionaries everywhere.  We were reminded that God communicates to the world through our lives so we have to deal with this thing called flesh.  It has to have a crucifixion so that there can be a resurrection.  We were told that “mi casa es su casa.”  My house is your house…thank you First Baptist Church, Bowling Green!  Please turn off your cell phones.  You really didn’t get a t-shirt for ½ price!  Is it Happy Friday, Hungry – Fix it, Hurting Feet?  And are we going on a huge picnic or something??  I’ve never seen soooooo many baskets!  No, we’re not going on a huge picnic…we got a tax deduction!  And the heritage fund is $5,018.00 richer!  We learned how important the Jesus film is in a dormitory in Paris, thank you Greg.

All our IMB missionaries in Japan are safe, but we still need to pray for their people.  You ministered to missionaries by your giving.  We were reminded that God knows who the initials people are when we pray.  You know, there’s a Toy’s R Us just about everywhere.  There is power when I get on my knees.

Some towns in Kentucky have more cows than people.  News flash!  Jesus has been hi-jacked by the Christians!  There are people who have heard and rejected…and there are people who have never heard.  Joy, I have found that missing cell phone that KY WMU bought…it’s in Southeast Asia!  We were reminded that we are to be doers of the word, not hearers only.  Did you know that the less color in your hair, the more intelligent you are!  WMU you’re looking good.  We love you Craig and Angie.  A favorite DOM came by pulling an Eliza Broadus product…may many lives be changed through block parties.

Be strong in the Lord because Jesus paid it all.  He touched me…with His Amazing Grace and now my chains are gone.  Thank you Sue Ellen and Emily.  When God sees me, He sees Jesus in Linda form!  Now that’s an altar’d state.  I hope we all bind our flesh to the altar.  People want to know why we do what we do.  Kentucky WMU camps and Keris told us WHY!  We praised the Lord by doing the beaver jive!  We don’t want to be a pineapple, Georgia peach or a watermelon!  We’d rather be love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control!  We had a GREAT year in WMU.  WMU is on the move, in Korea, Indonesia, and Africa.  We shared…all around the world.  We’re going to reach the world in a chain reaction.  We tip our hat to you Anna Mary.  You know? They didn’t look old enough to retire…from the board that is!  We’re going to miss you in October but you had better be in Somerset next year because you voted to put up with me for another year!!!!!  We have a new VP and some new board members.  Thank you Kay Mackey.  Yesterday just wasn’t a good day for an anniversary!  They resigned and retired!  And I’m beginning to get a complex!  We’re going to miss you LaRaine and Donna!  But we welcome Maryann.

Internationals are very musical!!  Thank you Cambodians, Vietnamese, and Koreans!  We have got to do a flesh flush because flesh is fearful and believes EVERYTHING the enemy says.

Did you know that when you have WMU in your church, praying and giving is stronger and a higher % is given to the cooperative program.  We sure have influence!!!!  You all will have to help me on this one…Did he say that WMU pushes pastors or PULLS them along?  What a friend in Don Mathis…He truly is a wise man.  We love you and will pray for you, Bill and Kay Mackey.  We will keep our focus on missions…for that is God’s call on us.  Red and yellow, black and white they are precious in His sight and to Trent, Pavel, Mary Lou, Pat, and Sergey…and to all of us, too.  All you have to do is TELL WHAT JESUS HAS DONE FOR YOU!  Some of us married well.  Thank you Lee and Jim.

Be sure and turn to pg. 38 in your program for more information about our speakers.  Force, Fraud, and coercion …we all have vulnerabilities.  we must do our part to be the light in the darkness.  We must help to rescue and restore those who are being exploited.  We must pray!  Awareness is futile if we don’t take action.  Be nice to people…a smile translates in every language.  Thank you Mary for opening our eyes.

Let’s take those smiles to Orlando as we BLUME with our Acteens and our panelists.  Team Somerset invited us to their house!  We’re going to minister to over 63,000 people.  We have permission to steal toiletries from the hotels!  Bro. Jeff asked about the hotel monogrammed towels in the boxes in the foyer??  I’m going to trust that you were witnessing to the maid when you took the hotel towels for our ministry project collection!!!  Thank you for being so giving.

What a gift in your voice and hands, Amy.  You really can hear the gospel because you can’t pay your electric bill.  Who needs note cards when you speak???  We can use our phones!!  All physical needs lead to a spiritual need.  People can see the Hope of Christ at Hope House.  Pray for Hope House.

We have a great heart beat in WMU…we’re ALIVE!  There’s a 20,000 people mission field at WKU.  They’re from all over the world and they’re lost.  Pray, know that Eliza is working, put campus ministry in your church’s budget, share with your family on the needs on our campuses.  We must pray for Tommy Johnson and all our campus ministers and I know you can do it because this weekend, you have been so kind to me; sharing encouragement and praying for me.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

If we turn our eyes upon Jesus, He will open the eyes of our heart.  We have truly been in the presence of Jehovah God.  You 630, surrender your flesh so that you can live a life where Christ flows through you, UNHINDERED.   Thank you, Jennifer.

Now lead us Lord to live Unhindered.  Help us change Bowling Green for you…for How very GREAT Thou Art!
