The Evangelism Growth Team of the KBC provides excellent training in understanding other beliefs. You are encouraged to attend an Understanding Other Beliefs Conference in order to be a better witness to family, friends, and neighbors. Funding for these conferences is provided by the Cooperative Program and the Eliza Broadus Offering.
The first conference for 2011-12 is October 13 at Crosspointe Baptist Church in Owensboro. The conference is from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. (Central time). Advanced registration is not required. Participants in this Understanding Other Beliefs Conference can select from three topics:
“Understanding Cults ” led by Don Metcalf
“Comparing Mormonism and Christianity” led by Bill Ellis
“Understanding the Times” led by Dave Meredith.
Facilitators are certified in their areas of teaching by the Southern Baptist North American Mission Board.
A 2012 spring conference is set for March 20 at Edgewood Baptist Church in Hopkinsville.
